DIY pomelo flower
Ms Shi and Mr He
When you eat a pomelo, you can use its zest to make Yuzu salt, use its pith to make my "grapefruit" skin candies (yes, I called that a "grapefruit" while that was actually a pomelo), how about its membranes? We can use these pink and glowing membranes to make a rose-like flower, which is so beautiful, vibrant, and vivid, with a refreshing pomelo fragrance.

1 double sided tape
1 stick as a flower stem
- 1 Pomelo/grapefruit Only need its membranes
Peel a pomelo, collect its membranes.
Pick a long membrane strip (about 5 inch long, 1 inch wide), cut fringes about 2/3 into the membrane strip. Set aside.
Cut the rest of membranes into the shape of rose petal. We will need about 15 petals. The sizes could be vary. You can cut 5 small ones, 5 medium ones, and 5 large ones. Set aside.
Apply double sided tape on the edge of each petal and the strip.
Roll around and stick the long membrane strip to a stick.
Tape small petals to the base, then the medium ones, lastly the large ones. Overlap subsequent petals by covering 1/3 of the previous petal.
After you have taped all the petals to the stick, gently spread the petals open, so they look more vibrant.
