Orange peel tea

In a cold winter afternoon, what's more comforting than a cup of freshly brewed hot tea with citrus fragrance? Use a leftover orange peel as a natural tea filter, listen to the tea drops, enjoy the aromas from tea, orange, and sunshine. Hope you a warm, relaxing, and delightful afternoon!

- 1 large orange
- 2 tsp tea leaves of your choice I used Da Hong Pao tea
- 8 oz boiling water
- 1 tsp honey optional
Wash an orange;
Cut 1 inch off the top of the orange.
Scoop out the fruit, either save it or eat it.
Use a toothpick to pierce about 20 holes on the bottom of the orange peel.
Put the orange peel into a v shape cup, so that the orange peel can stuck in the middle of the cup.
Add 2 tsp of tea leaves into the orange peel. Add 1 tsp of honey if you want your tea sweet.
Pour boiling water slowly over the tea leaves until the orange peel container is filled up. Wait for the hot water to drip through the orange peel. Fill up the orange peel container with boiling water for 3 to 4 times. I used 8 oz of water for total.
Dispose the orange peel and tea leaves. Enjoy the tea.
